This lovely resort is such a balm for the body and so lulls the senses that your average visitor, after checking in, prompty falls asleep, on and off, for the best part of a day or two.
It is worth spending extra, if you can afford it, on booking one of the better beachside units as they benefit from lovely sea-breezes and sea-views, particuarly at sunset.
The resort is set in spacious grounds graced with lush and well-maintained tropical vegetation, and is located in the middle of Sukhorn's best beach.
It's a bit of a shame that the sand on this beach isn't better (it's light brown in colour, and coarse) but that's the reason this resort is so affordable - if these bungalows were located on one of Thailand's prime beaches, they would cost at least quadruple the price.
Acccommodation
Beachfront Cottage
These are the resort's most comfortable units and occupy great front row locations right on the beach. If you are looking for a comfortable air-con bungalow right on a quiet beach and don't have deep pockets, these are hard to beat - anywhere in southern Thailand.
They have wonderful views, are very smart throughout and have sizable terraces. If you're looking for some solid hammock time and are on a mid-range budget, these units are an excellent choice.
As they are only a bit more expensive than the Beachfront Bungalows, the visitor is recommended to book one these Beachfront Cottage units instead of a Beachfront Bungalow.
That's easier said than done, though, as these Beachfront Cottages are usually booked solid well in advance. The best of these three units is the one furthest from reception, as it is the most private and gets the best views. Contact us and we'll see if it's available for your dates.
Beachfront Bungalow
These are a perfectly acceptable fall-back option if the Beach Cottages are all booked.
2nd Row Bungalow
These are the same as the Beachside Bungalows, but most of them are behind another building, so don't get a direct seaview.
One of them, however, is not located behind another building and so gets a good sea-view. It's the one in the image on the left, contact us to see if it's available for your dates.
If you can get this bungalow, there's little point paying extra for a Beachfront Bungalow.
Garden View Air-con
One of these units faces a field of buffaloe, and is the best of the bunch.
They're all smart and clean, but the ones without the buffaloe views have no significant views.
Garden View Fan Bungalow
These are reasonable value for the price charged. The Sukorn Cabana and also has some good value fan bungalows.
