Thai Markets
Thailand’s well-stocked markets, like its food, are diverse in the delicacy of their delights.
                      Products
It’s not only delicious and bargain basement-priced food that’s on offer, the visitor can also pick up clothes, watches, lingerie and footwear at prices that seem too good to be true.
                      Bargaining
A little bargaining is a good idea for things like watches and clothes, but it’s not a good idea to bargain too hard for food. Market food-stall holders generally charge visitors exactly the same as locals, and may be offended if you offer an insultingly low price for their produce. Being Thai, they’ll never show it, except by smiling a little less warmly at you than they would otherwise have done.
