For overland entry to Thailand the common points are:
- from Malaysia, Sadao check point in Songkla province
- from Myanmar, the Khaw Thon - Ranong river crossing, Nam Tok, Mae Sot and Mae Hong Son border check-points
- from Laos, the Vientiane and Nakhon Phanom border check-points
- from Cambodia, Aranya Prathet.
