This beautiful resort is a hidden gem in the heart of Patong - you can almost be fooled into believing that you are in the mountains of Chaing Mai, rather than just 200 meters from the beach and 5 minutes walk from infamous Bangla road. Phawadee boasts 36 rooms decorated in a pleasingly traditional Thai style. The bungalows and rooms are dotted around a lush oasis of palms, frangipani and orchid-shrouded banyan trees.
The verdant foliage and flowers enhance the atmosphere considerably, without in any way enveloping the resort. The resort’s décor is classy yet understated, with the use of reds and golds proving yet again to be a winning formula. From the moment you enter reception these tones begin to relax you, and they highlight the greenness of the garden well. With no traffic noise descending on your ears and a choice of a French steakhouse, Thai cuisine, and fresh seafood it is surely a great place to stay. All rooms come with daily newspaper delivery and room service is available from 6am to12 midnight.

Superior
The Superior rooms all face the road. While they are reasonable choices, the resort has better room types to offer.
Deluxe
The Deluxe rooms are decorated and furnished with comfort in mind, and are in the middle of the Babylonian gardens. They are highly recommended. Some of these rooms are a much better than others, offering more privacy and better views. Contact us and we will request one of these better rooms for you.
Pavilion
The subtly-lit Pavilions are larger detached units complete with a Jacuzzi either on the veranda or in the room. They are furnished with 4-poster beds and chaise longs and are recommended.
Suites
These offer nothing particularly special and are not recommended.
