Wow! Apparently everyone who stays here says this, upon walking through the double doors out of reception and first seeing the huge panoramic vista of the Andaman Sea which thus resort offers from almost everywhere in the resort. This writer admits to using this adjective more than once while reviewing this magnificent resort.
This exclusive retreat for the uber-fortunate labels itself as the heaven of all heavens and, with the attention to every little detail in this classy resort, it may just live up to its claim.
The resort has been built, suspended over a 45o declination to the sea below, out of insulation bricks which change colour with their temperature from a murky purple when hot, to a rutilant brown when cool.
Sitting on the restaurant’s balcony you get the feeling of escape - you are seated amongst the banyan tree tops and surveying the soulless ocean, accompanied only by the vague notion that there is someone lurking in the periphery of your vision waiting obsequiously.
Accommodation
There are 5 very voluptuous suites available in this heaven.
Talay Suite
This suite shares an infinity pool with the neighbouring suite, so it’s best to book one of these only if you book the next-door one as well. It features over-the-top mod cons such as an espresso machine, and opulent furnishings and fittings.
Aqua Suite
This is just as opulently fitted and furnished, and has a private infinity plunge pool and a large balcony. With sea-views from the indoor and outdoor showers and a greater sense of privacy, these suites are a little more expensive.
Cliff Villa
The Cliff is a two room villa with a cantilevered infinity pool and outside dining area.
As opulent as the other types but with a free standing bath and stocked wine fridge, this unit is elevated a little closer to heaven.
Dima Suite
Dima is a spa suite which incorporates all of the functions of a spa into the room, complimentary massage, a Jacuzzi surrounded by an infinity pool, and a steam room next to your outdoor but completely private bathroom. We recommend this room type, the only thing we can fault with it is that we can’t afford to stay here.
Cielo Suite
Cielo are the showpiece of Paresa, showcasing every conceivable opulence and decadence against the astounding backdrop of the Andaman.
At night the infinity pool glows with the fibre optic star lights submerged within. With butler and chef services on call and a fully stocked bar in-suite, these are amongst Phuket’s and also Thailand finest.
Prices
The above rates are net per room per night and inclusive of service charge.
