Introduction
If one's idea of a perfect day includes cruising at sea in a gorgeous, well-appointed Siamese Junk, and taking in the magnificent sights of Phang Nga Bay in southern Thailand, then allow us to book this day trip for you.

All trips aboard the June Bahtra, a luxury schooner rigged with the sails of a traditional junk, originate in Phuket. The trip includes a lovely cruise around the visually stunning archipelago of the Phang Nga Bay, with hotel pick ups, snacks, and lunch provided. It also includes a trip to the famous James Bond Island as well as a visit to a mangrove forest and a sea gypsy village.

This trip begins at 7:30 am, when your party will be picked up at your hotel and transferred to the June Bahtra, which is moored at the Yacht Haven Marina Pier in Phuket. |
During the cruise, you and your party will enjoy magnificent views of the massive limestone monoliths that make up the archipelago and for which this region is famous. Relax, take in the sights and enjoy tropical fruit, coffee and tea. |

The first stop is a visit to James Bond Island, known originally and locally as Ko Tapu or Nail Island. This island found fame in the 1974 Bond film "The Man with the Golden Gun", starring Roger Moore and Christopher Lee (as the three-nippled arch-villain Scaramanga) but it was the scenic topography that helped make the film into a firm Bond favorite. |
It also turned the previously unknown Phang Nga Bay into a major tourist attraction.
After a visit to the famous island, the schooner will anchor and guests will take a long tail boat to explore mangrove forests and a cave. After enjoying the natural seascapes and all the wildlife mangrove forests have to offer, guests will enjoy one last stop in a village of sea gypsies. This culturally fascinating visit is followed by a delicious Thai buffet lunch back aboard the June Bahtra. |

In the early afternoon, guests are invited to sunbathe, swim or just relax at their leisure. Finally, in the late afternoon, guests will cruise back to Phuket and transfer to their hotels. After a fun-filled, sun-soaked day, guests can expect to return to their respective hotels by 6 pm. |
As there is not one strenuous activity aside from utter relaxation, this is an ideal trip for youngsters, oldsters, couples and families alike. Let Andaman Sky make this a part of your itinerary.
