These are some of the noisiest rooms on Phi Phi Don, which accounts for their low price for the size of room offered.
If you like a larger room and are not a light sleeper, these are not a bad choice, but don't book this place if you are a ligth sleeper. Most people will be better off at the Kinaree
The Insula guest house is located in the central bazaar on Phi Phi Don, which at ground level feels more like Khao Sarn road in Bangkok than a tropical island. It is very close to many of the ithsmus' restaurants and bars, which means it is impossible to avoid night-time noise.

The bathrooms are spotlessly clean and the beds fairly comfortable, although like almost all Thai hotel beds they are too hard for most people. The decor is innocuous and inoffensive. The guest house is built on 3 floors and it is a good idea to go for a top floor room, if you can be bothered with the stairs, as that way you will get a decent sea view.
