Introduction

Many people will find that the modernistic architecture here looks about as compatible with a Thai beach as dreadlocks at a wedding, and the prices are high when compared with the Sita resort. |
| The Idyllic Resort enjoys a lovely and peaceful beachfront setting at the southern end of Sunrise beach, backed by jungle and shaded by trees, and has a very attractive infinity-edge pool. |

Bearing in mind the prices, there is really no reason to book this resort unless the way better Sita Resort is full.
Accommodation
I Sea Room

This smart and comfortable room type is decorated in a minimalist, modern style which bears no discernible Thai influences, but which nevertheless works well. Immaculate throughout, the outdoor rain-shower, computer and flat-screen TV are highlights. There is a small seaview. |
I Sky Room
These are exactly the same as the I Sea room, but are on the front row, so have a great sea-view.
I Garden Room
These are the same as the above 2 room types, without the seaviews.
Ocean View Room
Construction of these 2 rooms will begin shortly. They will be bigger and more expensive than the resort’s current accommodation.
