The architects of this newly-constructed Nana zone hotel did a great job of giving it a trendy and individual feel, without making it feel gimmicky or silly. The most striking thing about the Ramada is the pool area, which is surrounded by a small lawn, which in turn is surrounded by suspended and shaded garden daybeds. These rock soporifically back and forth on the chains from which they are suspended in a most relaxing way. City hotels don't often have such pleasant spots to relax in. These gently swinging daybeds in the hotel's tropical pool garden are one of the best spots to relax, in any Bangkok hotel.
The Ramada's single restaurant overlooks the pool and pool garden and is a pleasant spot for breakfast, but most guests dine out.
Accommodation
Two of the four room types here are recommended options for travellers, offering reasonable value for money for immaculate, high-quality, well-equipped rooms. The rooms contain no Asian or Thai decor, and could just as easily be in London as in Bangkok. While the lack of Thai decor may disappoint some travellers, the spotless cvondiiton of the rooms will not.
Superior 32 sqm
These rooms are well-equipped with a flatscreen TV and get reasonable pool views, but at 32 sqm they feel too small
to many travellers. They get a view of the concrete wall of the next door building, and are not recommended.
Deluxe 32 sqm
These rooms are the same tiny size as the Superior rooms. They get decent views, but are still too small to be recommended.
Honeymoon 38 sqm
These rooms feel significantly bigger than the Deluxe. Each room features a 'sexy bathroom' where half of a couple can watch the other half take a shower through the see-through glass. The glass in these shower units often steams up. These are reasonable value for the money, and are recommended.
Deluxe Suite 64 sqm
These rooms are comfortable and reasonable value for money.
Family Suite 102 sqm
These are a comfortable and spacious choice and offer a living roon as well as 2 bedrooms. The second bedroom contains a queen sized and a single bed.
Prices
The above rates are net per room per night and inclusive of service charge and breakfast for 2 people.
