This honeymoon offers three carefully selected resorts, all of which offer unforgettable locations as well as moderate luxury, without breaking the bank. The resorts chosen are all the best value mid-to-high-end luxury resorts in their respective destinations.

The destinations chosen are all off-the-beaten-track ones, to a greater or a lesser degree, as follows:

	Visitors wishing to spend a significant length of time on hectic Phuket and/or Samui are advised to book elsewhere. While we can competitively book a short spell on Phuket for you, we aren't the agency to use if you want to spend your whole holiday on either of these islands. We don't specialise in them, due to not particularly recommending them, due to their over-development.
This honeymoon itinerary is a pleasurable sandwich of a livelier destination between two laid-back ones. The three-destination honeymoon starts and ends with 4 days each in two quiet destinations, Koh Yao Noi and Koh Lanta respectively.
	Between these laid-back islands, a stay in livelier Ao Nang is sandwiched in the middle and provides two changes of tempo to your honeymoon.

Many people choose to go on honeymoon to only a single destination because they don't want to waste time on transfers between destinations. This is understandable but a shame, as many couples will bore of a single resort for two weeks.

In order to overcome the transfer problem we have turned the inter-destination transfers into enjoyable days in their own right. This has been achieved as follows:

	We know that the three resorts included in this honeymoon are to be highly recommended, as we have visited and reviewed all the worthwhile resorts in all these destinations. This expert local knowledge (we are based here) also means that we know which are the best room types and which are the best room numbers too.
This unequalled local knowledge is why this itinerary offers the best daytrips and the best value luxury resorts available in the more off-the-beaten-path destinations on the Andaman coast.
	This itinerary isn't suitable for couples who just want to go to a single resort for a week or two. This itinerary is intended for couples who want to stay at more than one destination on their honeymoon. Couples who don't want to move around so much should choose this Lanta honeymoon package (code HMLA) instead.

Spa Seassions

	The Golden Beach resort in Ao Nang doesn't have a quality spa, and, as we don't think any honeymoon would be complete wihout a fair bit of pampering to ease those tired muscles, we've included a three hour massage session in the only quality spa in Ao Nang into the itinerary.
Both of the other two resorts in the itinerary, Paradise resort on Koh Yao Noi and LaLaanta on Koh Lanta, have quality spas, so you can book spa sessions there on impulse, as optional extras - please book direct with the resorts' reception desks.

Thailand Honeymoon - Itinerary

The vacation starts off with a 4 night stay in the best value luxury bungalows on the Andaman coast, the Jacuzzi Deluxe bungalows at Paradise resort on Koh Yao Noi.

The resort can be reached in 3 hours from Phuket airport, provided the couple's flight arrives by 2pm. Later arrivals will need to spend the night in a Phuket hotel. After arrival at Paradise resort on day 1, the second day is spent relaxing in-resort, then on the third we lay on a gentle early afternoon - to early evening exploration trip, where you visit a market, a deserted, pristine beach, then go out for a romantic dinner in one of a choice of quality restaurants.

After relaxing on day 3, most couples are ready for a spot of soft adventure on day 4, so we have included a lagoon kayaking trip into stunning Phang Nga bay into the itinerary.

This is the least crowded lagoon kayaking day-trip on offer in Phang Nga bay, as (a) it starts from Paradise resort, located on the the northern tip of Koh Yao Noi, which is ideally located to reach lagoons inaccessible to the hordes of visitors staying in Phuket's 600 hotels and (b) it avoids tourist traps like James Bond Island.

We get top feedback about this lagoon kayaking trip, to which we can add in a spot of optional and great fun deep water soloing, for which no prior experience is ncecessary, at no extra charge.

On day 5 we transfer you from the beach in front of Paradise resort directly to the beach in front of your next resort, the Golden Beach resort in Ao Nang. En route to Ao Nang, you stop to swim, kayak and snorkel at stunning Koh Hong.

Bustling Ao Nang offers a change of tempo from Koh Yao Noi.

There is lots to do, but many of our honeymoon couples like to spend significant time lazing on the beach and people-watching in Ao Nang's best (but quiet) beach bar, which is less than 50 metres away from the bungalow we have included for you, an Executive Pavilion at the Golden Beach resort.

These are the best bungalows in Ao Nang. As we are based in Ao Nang, we know which the best bungalow numbers are and will request one of these for you.

The Last Fisherman's bar, Ao Nang's best beach bar and only a 1 minute walk from your bungalow, is a great place to catch the sunset but is thankfully not a place for night owls, so honeymooners can play their night-time games to the sole soundtrack of waves lapping the beach.

Day 6 is spent relaxing in-resort, then at a 3 hour honeymooners' spa session at Ao Nang's only quality spa, the Boossabakorn spa.

If we were lawyers not travel agents we would make it ilegal to come and stay here in Ao Nang, and not visit Railay.

Day 7 is spent exploring Railay, on a very flixible private Railay exploration daytrip, which can optionally include relaxing on Railay's splendid beaches, climbing, abseiling, cliff-jumping, caving and trekking. Couples who wish to save THB 5,600 can do so by doing this daytrip independantly - when we meet and greet you in Ao Nang we will draw you a map and tell you how to get to the attractions on Railay. Many couples choose to take us up on this offer and spend only the afternoon of day 7 on Railay, after a lie-in.

After the relaxation on days 6 and 7, we up the tempo again with a daytrip on day 8. You can choose between a snorkelling trip to Koh Phi Phi, a soft kayaking trip to Bor Thor and and a day's rock-climbing. For THB 2,000 per person extra you can, alternatively, go diving to Koh Phi Phi or ATV riding and white water rafting.

After Ao Nang, on day 9 you transfer to Koh Lanta for the honeymoon's Robinson Crusoe finale, at the LaLaanta resort on Koh Lanta, which offers amazing value absolute beachfront accommodation on a lovely, pristine beach.

The transfer from Ao Nang takes 3 hours as LaLaanta is located on the southern tip of Koh Lanta, meaning that a change of vehicle to a 4wd is neccesary in order to reach the resort. As the transfer is a longish one, we break it up into two sections, stopping for an elephant trek and/or a visit to the Tiger Cave temple. After the elephant trek and/or temple visit, you have lunch at a restaurant on stilts in a fish pond, in your own private sala (open-sided hut on stilts) - feeding the huge fish is great fun.

Day 10 is spent in-resort, soaking up the tranquil beauty of LaLaanta, one of the last and almost lost, yet surprisingly affordable paradise resorts in Thailand.

	On the following day we recommend couples hire a motorbike and go exploring the quiet, sandy trails around the southern tip of the island - this is an optional extra which you can book at reception on impulse.
After 2 days of relaxation, we up the tempo a little on day 12 with a snorkelling trip to Koh Rok. There are several snorkelling daytrips available from Koh Lanta, we have included this one as it is the one about which we get the best feedback.

On day 13 we transfer you to Krabi airport. If you need to be transferred back to Phuket, please add THB 2,500 to the price for 2 pax.

All breakfasts are included in the itinerary.

Optional Extensions

This itinerary can be customised to exactly your requirements. Most couples take advantage of our itinerary-tailoring service, which is free. Perhaps you fancy adding in a few nights in Bangkok, staying at the Vie hotel in an enormous, opulent and inexpensive Deluxe Suite and going on a romantic river dinner cruise. The next day a guided palace visit and/or a spot of guided shopping are the most popular choices.

Another optional extension is a stay in an almost impossibly romantic luxury treehouse in Khao Sok. After Khao Sok, you can add in a an overnight visit to a rafthouse floating on Cheow Larn the lake.

The options are almost endless - if you want a real Robinson Crusoe holiday then contact us and we'll add some very quiet, remote islands into the itinerary.

	This itinerary qualifies you as a VIP customer, so on arrival on Koh Yao Noi you will be lent a mobile phone, using which you can contact us to advise us of any problems or any changes required. We also use the phone to call you if required, to stop you getting lost on your itinerary.
This is a brain-free holiday. We send you a set of e-vouchers, one for each activity, tranfer and resort - all you have to do is be in reception at the times indicated in the set of vouchers. This means you are spared having to think about what to do next and how to book it, and where to go next and how to get there. All you need to do is switch off and relax.
