This honeymoon is designed for couples who prefer not to travel around on their honeymoon, and just want to stay in one extremely romantic place.
Choosing the most romantic resort in Thailand was a difficult job, but we chose Pimalai Resort and Spa on Koh Lanta, for the following reasons:
- Everything about the resort, which has won multiple awards, is 5 star
- While there are several resorts of the same similar quality on the Andaman Coast, none can match Pimalai's superb location, occupying fully 900 metres of lovely Kantiang beach on Koh Lanta. This was the only Thai beach to be included in the Sunday Times 2009 "Best Ten Tropical Beaches" awards.
- We have managed to negotiate some exceptionally good packages there for honeymoon couples. You don't have to be on your first honeymoon, it can be your second, third, or even thirty-third honeymoon,
This itinerary includes two spa session for two at the lovely Pimalai Spa, plus two haute cuisine, three-course, a-la-carte dinners for two on a sunset-view table at the resort's gourmet Seven Seas restaurant.

The itinerary starts and finishes at Krabi, contact us for pickup and/or dropoff elsewhere. The stay at Pimalai is for 10 nights, which in our experience is the longest time that most couples want to stay in one place.
One of the pool villas at Pimalai (image below) makes possibly the most romantic sojourn anywhere in the country. The Pavilion Suite and Deluxe options offer excellent value for money for the 5 star standard of the accommodation provided.

Pick up from Krabi any time, taxi/boat transfer (3 hours) to Koh Lanta, check in to Pimalai Resort for 10 nights. On arrival, you are escorted to a room that has been set up to provide a stage for romance and seduction, with rose petals scattered across the bed and in the bathroom. A complimentary bottle of wine, honeymoon cake and melt-in-the-mouth chocolates further enhance the feeling of well-deserved decadance. |
