Lipe’s biggest resort is as an architectural monstrosity that is as welcome in the middle of Pattaya beach as a fart at a funeral. The only good thing about the place is its fantastic Pattaya beachfront location.

| With all 175 rooms (some of which sleep up to 12 people) full in high season, about 400 people crowd the resort’s packed dining area, which has as much style as a factory canteen. There are far too few beach loungers to go round. |

Accommodation
The rooms are smelly, and most are laid out in a densely-packed grid that would resemble a military barracks, if it were smart enough – the ‘garden’ areas in between the rows of rooms are covered in weeds
