Hot springs & Emerald pool
Description
 |
Just over an hour from Ao Nang are the hot springs, where you can relax in water that is more than warm - it's actually hot. |
The hot spring water cascades down a hillside, forming a waterfall where over the millenia the water has deposited minerals to form a series of natural bath-tubs - the perfect place to ease away aches and pains. |
 |
 |
When you get a bit too hot, simply jump into the river below to cool off. |
The nearby crystal pool is a lovely place to swim and it has a natural water-slide, which is lots of fun for the young, and for the not-so-young too. |

Join-On Day Trip
We reccommend you combine a visit here with an elephant trek and a visit to the Tiger Cave Temple. For more information on this daytrip, click here.
Private Day Trip
Custom-designed day-trips which include the hot springs and emerald pool are not a problem and not expensive, so if you fancy combining the hot springs / emerald pool with other options than the elephant trek and temple visit, contact us - maybe you'd like to (a) stop for lunch at a restaurant in stilts in a small lake stocked with big fish (it's amusing to feed them, and eat them too), (b) go shopping in Krabi town (c) go for a sunset dinner to an inexpensive, atmospheric and authentic sunset restaurant near Krabi town (d) visit Huay To waterfall.
That's 6 different options we can combine into a private day-trip, as follows:
It's best to choose at most four options. Contact us for help in deciding, and for prices.

Here's another image of the emerald pool. |
To get to the emerald pool and hot springs, you take a boardwalk through the jungle and back, about 1 km in length. |

If you like palm trees, you'll love it here. |
