Description

This is a very affordable adventure holiday to the highlights of Krabi Province, with a stop off in southern Thailand's best inland destination, Khao Sok, also included.

	This itinerary is very flexible and includes options to snorkel, kayak, white water raft, ATV (quad bike) riding, night-time jungle trek, river canoe and elephant trek.
For the more committed adrenaline junkie, scuba diving, cliff jumping, and rock climbing are optional activities.
	This itinerary includes stays in Ao Nang, Koh Lanta and Khao Sok. These 3 destinations are all quite close to Phuket, minimising transfer times. Between the three of them they offer the very best in beaches and adventure the region has to offer.
Ao Nang has been included as it offers very easy access to Railay (boats go regularly at THB 100 per person each way with no advance booking required), and to Koh Phi Phi, plus offers 2 good beaches and a huge range of activities.
	It is developed enough to offer the traveller a range of hotels and amenities, but not yet overdeveloped like Phuket and Koh Samui, which we exclude from all of our standard packages for this reason.
In Ao Nang, as part of the standard itinerary and included in the standard price, you get to choose to either (a) Snorkel Koh Phi Phi or (b) kayak Bor Thor or (c) climb Railay. If you would like to do more than one of these activities that is possible at an extra cost of THB 1,800 per person per day, please let us know after you book and before you arrive.
	You can also go diving to Koh Phi Phi, which costs THB 2,400 extra per person, provided you have a PADI Open water certificate or equivalent. If you have no scuba qualifications you can still dive Phi Phi on a 1 day Discover Scuba Diving course, at an extra cost THB 4,200 instead of THB 2,400.
In Ao Nang we also include one optional extra cultural daytrip, to the the Tiger Cave Temple and the Krabi Walking Street market, at an optional extra cost of THB 1,300. If you would prefer to go climbing, kayaking or snorkelling instead, that is possible at an extra cost of THB 1,800 per person instead of THB 1,300.
	The following activity is an optional extra in Ao Nang: ATV (quad bike) riding (2 hours) and white water rafting (5km).
In Ao Nang you check into a Superior room at the Haleeva Resort. This resort has a pool and is quiet, yet located within 5 minutes' walk of dozens of bars, massage shops, restaurants and shops.
	Koh Lanta, with 9 beaches, is the second destiantion and is the chill-out destination in the package - many travellers decide to add an extra night or two on here, in order to soak up some more rays.
Lanta offers 2 very good day-trips, snorkelling or diving to Koh Haa and kayaking to Koh Talabaeng. These are both optional extras in this package, for maximum flexibility. You stay at the Golden Bay resort in a Superior room. The Golden Bay is an absolute beachfront resort with a swimming pool and a good reputation for service.
	Khao Sok is the last destination in the itinerary. This is the region's best inland destination, where you get to stay in a very comfortable treehouse and optionally extra take the best elephant trek and river canoeing on the region. Tubing and a night safari are other popular optional extras.
Khao Sok has southern Thailand's best elephant trekking. This isn't kids-only trekking through rubber plantations. In Khao Sok you trek up and down big hills, in rivers, through pristine jungle. If you think you have "been there and done that" when it comes to elephant trekking, this is the ele trek to show you otherwise.
	Khao Sok also has the region's best river canoeing. For maximum flexibility you can choose to (a) just elephant trek at THB 1,100 extra (b) just river canoe at THB 1,000 extra (d) do both of these at THB 2,100 extra (d) do none of these. The choice is yours, just book the optional extra(s) from the list below.
Two further optional extra activities in Khao Sok are tubing at THB 500 extra and a night safari at THB 1,000 extra.
	In Khao Sok you get to stay in a very comfortable air-con treehouse at the Treehouse Resort.

It is possible to go scuba diving to Koh Phi Phi on day 3 instead of choosing one of the activities listed for day 3. The ugrade price to go diving instead depends on whether the customer has a current PADI Open Water qualification or equivalent. In this case the upgrade costs THB 2,400. If the customer has no qualifications or his/her qualification has lapsed, he/she can still go diving, at an upgrade cost of THB 4,200.

Upgrade to Baan Lanta resort on Koh Lanta, Deluxe Villa, including breakfasts, THB 1,500.

Exclusions

All National Park fees - currently THB 800 per person - these are payable on arrival at the parks.
