This honeymoon is designed for couples who love nature and the outdoors, but don't want to do too much on their honeymoon except admire it - there are no particularly energetic daytrips included, in order to conserve energy for the night-time.

	Couples who would like to add in extra activities can do so, we cover all the activities and daytrips in all the worthwhile destinations on the Andaman Coast, so we can custom design a honeymoon package just for you.
The vacation starts off with a 3 night stay in an almost impossibly romantic luxury treehouse in Khao Sok. There is only one of these honeymoon treehouses in the resort, and it is easily the best couples' treehouse in southern Thailand.
	Because there is only one of them, we may have to adjust your itinerary to fit you in, but this is usually possible, if you book reasonably far in advance, as most honeymooners do.
The fact that there is only one of these treehouses means you won't find it in the itineraries of the big travel companies, who mass market their packages, so can't use resorts where there is only one unit they can book. Only local agencies like ourselves even know about the Treehouse Resort in Khao Sok.
	While in Khao Sok, you go for a one day visit to the Cheow Larn lake, whose ethereal tranquility makes it probably the most beautiful inland spot in Thailand.

If you want to spend the night in a rafthouse floating on the lake, this can be arranged, contact us to discuss whether this is a good idea for you. There are lots of activities available in Khao Sok, but we have only included this single day-trip to the lake, if you would like to add in an extra daytrip, take your pick from the Khao Sok daytrips, then contact us for a customised itinerary.

	Maybe you'd like to stay an extra night or two in Khao Sok, so you can do everything you want to, but have 'rest' days off in between. The river canoeing is the best in the region, so this is an excellent optional extra daytrip choice from Khao Sok.
After Khao Sok, you go to Koh Lanta for the honeymoon's luxury highlight, a 6 nights stay at Pimalai Resort and Spa

As the transfer from Khao Sok is 4.5 hours long, we break it up into two sections of two hours each, stopping at Phanom Bencha national Park in the middle. Here, you take perhaps the best elephant trek in southern Thailand. It's one of the very best because it's the only one which goes through virgin jungle, as opposed to plantations. After the elephant trek, you have lunch at a restaurant on stilts in a lake, in your own private sala (open-sided hut on stilts).

Pimalai is quite possibly southern Thailand's top resort.

We have chosen it as the luxury highlight of all our honeymoons because:

• Everything about the resort, which has won multiple awards, is 5 star
• While there are several resorts of the same similar quality on the Andaman Coast, none can match Pimalai's superb location, occupying fully 900 metres of lovely Kantiang beach on Koh Lanta. This was the only Thai beach to be included in the Sunday Times 2009 "Best Ten Tropical Beaches" awards.
• We have managed to negotiate some exceptionally good packages there for honeymoon couples. You don't have to be on your first honeymoon, it can be your second, third, or even thirty-third honeymoon!

	Certainly in terms of its natural setting it can't be beaten - harmiously blended into a seashore and hillside above Kantiang bay, it benefits from fully 900 metres of pristine and tranquil beach frontage.
Romantic walks on the quiet beach are a popular passtime with honeymooners, and a good way to reach the typically-Thai rustic-style 'Why Not' beach bar, which is possibly southern Thailand's best beach bar - it's 900 metres away from Pimalai - close, but not too close. We know this resort really well, so will request one of the best rooms for you - one of the upstairs units north of reception.

We don't think any honeymoon would be complete wihout a fair bit of pampering to ease those tired muscles, so we've included two separate Asian Aroma Massage sessions, each for 2 people, in the package.

Pimalai's Seven Seas restaurant enjoys a stunningly panoramic setting above Kantiang bay, so we've also included two meals for two there, at a candle-lit sunset-view table.

There's lots to do on Lanta, but we've only included these two daytrips while you're on Lanta: 4 Islands snorkelling trip Snorkel Koh Rok

	After Pimalai, this honeymoon concludes with a stay on the Koh Lao Liang eco-resort, which is a nature-lover's dream come true.
Whilst not a luxury destination, the resort is comfortable enough for most people, and the setting is absolutely stunning. The accommodation consists of large, absolute beachfront, walk-in safari-style tents.

Most people enjoy the feeling of being so close to nature, but tents are not to everybody's liking.

	The architypically perfect beach setting was hardly disturbed when the resort arrived - no trees were cut down, and almost no concrete or plastic was used. Many people fall almost as passionately in love with Lao Liang as with their new spouses, and return time and again. The word 'paradise' is overused, and we've only used it to describe one destination on this website, Koh lao Liang.
We have included one of the more expensive front row absolute beachfront tents in the package.
