Salanta Resort, Koh Lanta
Independant Review
This down-at-heel resort sits on a prime beach-front plot, and is always full in high season for this reason, and because of its relative proximity to the ferry pier. The pool is small and densely packed in high season, and the resort’s bungalows have seen considerably better days.
Some have ominous-looking cracks in the walls, which nobody has bothered to repair. They smell and are not recommended. The exterior colour scheme at this resort has to be seen to be believed, with blues clashing with purples and pinks. Only book this resort if you are desperate.
