This resort’s modest but pleasant and airy lobby is surrounded by manicured grounds.
The bungalows are rather densely-packed, meaning that the bungalows’ balconies are too close to the neighbouring balconies.
This resort is poor value for money.
The resort, which is situated on attractive Klong Dao beach, has a bakery which bakes fresh bread every day – a major bonus in Thailand.
Accommodation
Superior Bungalow
These well-presented and comfortable bungalows, whilst having balconies that lack privacy, offer good value for money. They get booked up well in advance of every high season.
Deluxe Bungalow
These bungalows are bigger than the Superior bungalows, but are not recommended, as the extra space has not been well utilized by an uncomfortable wooden day-bed. An extra bed is possible, but not recommended, as there is barely sufficient space.
Family Bungalow
Each of these comfortable and tastefully-decorated rooms is equipped with 2 bunk-beds, each of which will accommodate a 12 year-old Western boy of average height. It is possible to add an extra bed, but this is not recommended, as there is insufficient space to comfortably do so.
Recommended Family Accommodation Option
The Superior and Deluxe bungalows are all semi-detached. One side of each building is a Deluxe bungalow, and the other side is a Superior Bungalow. A good family option is to take a whole building, ie one Superior and one Deluxe bungalow. This option can accommodate a large family in comfort, while affording parents night-time privacy.
Deluxe Room
Well-equipped and furnished, the upstairs rooms are better than are those downstairs, which are a bit gloomy.
Executive Room
These are bigger, better equipped and grander then are the Deluxe Rooms.
Executive Room
These are slightly fancier than the Executive rooms, but not noticably.
Mountain View Suite
These large, well-equipped rooms are innocuously if not luxuriously decorated. The upstairs rooms can connect, making a great family option, where parents can watch their children frolic in the pool below from the comfort of their balcony. Parents get the privacy of their own room, but this is an expensive accommodation option for families, so can not be recommended unless better-value accommodation elswhere is booked up.
