Located at the very edge of Kantiang Bay (cliff edge location, 7 minutes stroll down to the beach itself), this boutique resort has 15 rooms in total and is aimed at travellers who enjoy modern architectural design. Families should be aware that The Houben only accepts children aged 12 and older.
The resort consists of 2 building which face the swimming pool and overlook the ocean, plus 2 large suites at the very cliff edge overlooking the ocean. The resort offers Thai & European food, with an emphasis on Belgian cuisine, accompanied by Belgian beers. Daily sunset yoga sessions are available next to the pool, overlooking the ocean. In the in-house Spa, all materials used are organic.

Superior Rooms Building
All rooms have oversized king beds with extra thick mattresses, flat-screen TVs, balconies, fullsize bathtubs & rainshowers. The top floor rooms have extra-high ceilings and better views at no extra cost, so we always request one of these units for our customers at the time of booking.
Deluxe Rooms Building
In addition to the facilities described above for the Superiors, The Deluxe rooms additionally have a private Jacuzzi and a coffee maker in the room. Privilege Suites
There are only 2 suites. These are cliff-edge, overlooking the sea. Each suite has a large private terrace with an outdoor Jacuzzi. There’s a coffee maker, Nespresso machine and minibar. At 75 square meters, these units are very airy and have an open feeling, with lots of light coming in. These units, offering privacy and far-reaching views, are a favourite with honeymooners.
