For visitors looking for clean air-con accommodation ina quiet resort, this resort is a good choice. All the bungalows are clean, spacious and comfortable, and nestle amidst an attractive jungle setting. The resort is perched on a hillside above a rocky bay, and the nearest beach is a 10 minute walk away. For families this is a problem, even though there is a pool.
For visitors who are confidant to rent a motorbike this isn't a problem, but for those who don't want to rent a bike but who like to eat out at different places and enjoy a nice beach, this resort is not recommended.
Kantiang beach, 10 minutes' walk away, is a good swimming beach, and has a great little beach bar, the Why Not, at which live music is played every evening during high season. The hilltop pool at this resort has great views, and the bar and restaurant here is yet another fab place on Lanta to watch the sunset.
Accommodation
While the rooms here are a reasonable option, they aren't among Lanta best value options. When the better value places are full, however, they aren't a bad choice.
Eyes View Villa
Huge terraces equipped with 2 bean bags front these large and attractive bungalow built almost entirely of wood.
Wooden bungalows are a problem in the Thai tropical climate, as they don't last long, but the bungalows at this resort are only 2 years old, so still in good condition.
The wood isn't top quality and some of it is rather rough, but it looks good.
The bungalows blend well into their tropical settings.
After dark, they become romantic hideaways.
The room with the best sea-view is the northernmost one, which is also the one nearest the pool and bar.
Eyes Star Villa
These are less lavishly appointed and smaller than the Eyes View Villas, but still attractive and reasonable value for money.
There is nothing to complain about in these good mid-range bungalows.
Some of them have reasonable sea-views - the one with the best seaview is, surprise, surprise, the one nearest the sea !
