This small and attractively laid out resort is suitable for those who like a quiet resort with only a few people around, and who don’t need the fancy facilities provided by bigger resorts. The architecture exhibits modern influences in the exotic and mimimalistic Easter Island-style statuary, but retains the grace and elegance which gives the typical Thai resort its appeal.
This establishment is not recommended for families, as there is nowhere for older children to run around, and as the ubiquitous lily ponds are a hazard to tiny tots. As at May 2010, the lily ponds are soon to be turned into koi carp ponds, which will be an enhancement, but not an improvement for families.
For adults looking for a quiet hideaway it is a good choice. The bungalows are immaculate and tastefully decorated and, whilst the verandahs are not private, they are comfortable.
The small restaurant is a pleasant place to breakfast and lunch, though many guests head out for dinner, as the resort is a small one and most people who have been in-resort all day feel the need to go out somewhere in the evening. There is a small and comfortable beach bar which, while it lacks the rustic charm of other Lanta bars, mixes a mean margarita.
Accommodation
Deluxe Beachfront
These large, immaculate and comfortable units have gleaming hardwood floors, flat-screen TVs, comfortable terrace loungers and particularly stylish bathrooms, decorated in trendy Morrocan-style stonewash paint-jobs. the oversized beds are topped by 4 pillows and a pair of silk cushions for decoration, with a colourful silk throw forming a bright but tastefull splash of colour against the muted pastel background shades used to decorate the rooms. The visitor will seen, when the koi carp pond is completed, be able to sit on the terrace and watch the fish glide around - surely a helpful aid to relaxation, for even the most stressed of arrivees. For a bit of excitement, maybe chuck in a bit of bread, and stimulate a feeding frenzy.
Premium Deluxe
