A fantastic name for a fantastic guest house: brand new as at May 09, everything in this simple hotel is immaculate. Run by a very friendly and attentive Italian and his Thai wife, the breakfast is good, and an excellent Italian evening meal is to be had by those who want to eat in.
The rooms at the front suffer from a little traffic noise, but those at the back do not. The top (3rd) floor room at the back has a sensational panoramic view of the karst ramparts that separate Ao Nang from Railay and, for those who can be bothered to climb the stairs, is an excellent choice. The sunset view is one of the best in Ao Nang, with the minarets of Ao Nang's newest mosque gracefully piercing a blazing sky - it's really something.
The hotel is 2km from the beach and town, so staying here requires either renting a motorbike or taking a tuk tuk into town and back every day, neither of which is a hardship or expensive. For those after an inexpensive, clean and simple room with a view, this new guest house is to be highly recommended.
This resort is also great for those who want to eat authentic Thai food for very low prices. The 'kanom jeen' place next door charges less than THB 80 to fill you full up with great noodles, curry sauce and chicken wings, and the 2 Thai lunchtime restaurants just opposite are the ones frequented by Ao Nang's expat community, who know where the best value and quality Thai food is to be found.

All the rooms in this guest house are air-con, and vary only in size and location. There are big rooms, medium-sized rooms and small rooms.
Some of these are located at the front of the guest house and suffer from traffic noice. Others are located at the back of the resort, and are not only quiet, but benefit from great views, particularly from the upper floor rooms.
