Located 300m up a very steep hill and as of June 2011 next to a building site, this brand new resort is amenity rich, boasting a games room, kids club, multimedia library, fitness room and conference rooms. The resort lacks character and is so generic and non-descript that it is hard to review.
The restaurant is boringly utilitarian.
The pool has some interesting water features.
Accommodation
There are 4 room types, 3 of which are well appointed and comfortable, although over priced and dark. The image on the left is of a Deluxe room.
On the right is an image of the Grand Deluxe, which is innocuous but harmless.
The last room type are the 2 Corner Suites (see the image on the left), which are quite impressive. These two suites are located in the top corners and, due to the above mentioned building work, only 1 is worth booking.
Light, spacious and boasting great views, of both Kata and Karon beaches) both have a circular bathtub in the bedroom and overhead rosette in the large shower stand. These honeymooners suites offer all you would need but, at a pinch less than other much nicer places, seem second rate.
Prices
The above rates are net per room per night and inclusive of service charge.
