Tree Tops Jungle Safari Resort, Khao Sok

The main building of this messy resort is a block of concrete so ugly that the reviewer didn’t go inside, as nothing inside could possibly redeem the revolting exterior. The ‘tree-tops tree-houses’ claimed by the website are just bungalows on concrete stilts, and reach nowhere near the tree-tops.
This resort is only recommended for those people who are so addicted to urban 1970s English architecture that they can’t bear to be parted from it while on holiday. It's not only taste-challenged English people who will like this place, though - recently-released convicts of all nationalities will feel right at home here.
