This well-located Khao Sarn zone hotel has seen better days, and is no longer recommended. Tropical hotels need regular renovation, and this place is overdue one. Some of the rooms have been superficially renovated recently, but still look pretty scruffy. While this is not the best place to book in the Khao sarn zone there is one room type, the Deluxe, which is reasonable but not good value for money, and is an acceptable choice when other better value places such as the Villa Cha Cha next door are full.
The reasonably sized pool is adequate for a quick dip, but don't expect to spend lots of time there, as it is not attractive and is not surrounded by sufficient loungers for the number of guests in the hotel during high season.
One tripadvisor contributor recently described his room as having "more stains than a 2 year old's outfit after eating some ice cream".
Accommodation
Standard Triple
Some of these rooms have been renovated, others have not. It is essential to get a renovated room, but with this hotel we aren't optimistic that a request for a renovated room will be honoured, as it is an old established hotel which is often full (when guests who don't like their unrenovated rooms will be moved into renovated rooms requested by other guests). Even the rooms that have been renovated are unimpressive due to the dated decor, that looks like it could be inside a guest house in Blackpool, England.
Deluxe
These
are the only rooms in this hotel to book, as they aren't too bad a choice when better places are full.
Prices
The above rates are net per room per night and inclusive of service charge and breakfast for 2 people.
