The facade of this hotel in Nana zone is a tasteless collage of brightly coloured plastic panels, which is so ugly that many arriving guests must surely wonder with trepidation what awaits them within. Unfortunately such guests will have their fears confirmed when they enter the lobby, where the garishness continues - one wall is covered in what looks like artificial, bright green grass.
The kaleidoscope continues into the lifts, which are also 'decorated' in multicoloured plastic. The restaurant area is more attractive than the lobby, but is somewhat spoiled by the grey foam which partly hides the pipes, cables and air ducts attached to the ceiling. The restaurant is good enough for breakfast, but is not a place to dine in. There is live music from 7pm to 2am, but there are much better places nearby for a night out.
Accommodation
Thankfully the rooms are decorated in somewhat better taste than the shared areas of the hotel. They are very clean and well-equipped, and are reasonable value for money.
Superior Room
These all have tiny windows. From the lower floor rooms there is no view. From the higher floors the view is insignificant, due to the miniscule size of the windows. These small rooms are not recommended.
Deluxe Room
These rooms have a tiny balcony which is no use except for a smoke. They get more light than the Superior rooms.
Prices
The above rates are net per room per night and inclusive of service charge and breakfast for 2 people.
