Kayak Thailand - Koh Garos

	The newest area opening to kayaking enthusiasts on the Krabi coast is Koh Garos and the vast wilderness mangroves south of Laem Taeng (Cucumber cape).To date, only one of Krabi's 20 sea canoe companies are venturing into this unspoiled realm. For the few who do the rewards are many.
There are ancient pictographs to discover along the 400-meter-high limestone walls, extensive bat caves where locals harvest guano, bird-nest gathering chambers, hidden lagoons, artesian-fed streams running crystal clear, and dramatic paddle through passage ways similar to Tham Lod. The scenery here is world class and the crowds are sure to follow, but for now it still offers a voyage to a lost world for a fortunate few to kayak in Thailand.
