Chaw ka Cher Resort, Koh Lanta
		               Independant Review
This resort is a much better option than staying at most of the decrepit hotels on Long and Klong Dao beaches. Whilst not on the beach, there is a free shuttle service to and from the beach once every day. The resort is too small to be a good place for families to stay at, and there are no particularly appropriate family accommodation options available.
It also won’t suit couples who want to spend most of their days on the beach, as they won’t be able to easily pop back to their rooms. For couples on short visits or who will be spending most of their time on day-trips, however, this resort is a good choice, as it offers good accommodation at pleasing prices. It consists of only 24 bungalows, so the attractive but smallish pool is big enough.
		              Accommodation
The 24 bungalows are all identical, except that 6 of them have a pool view, and are thus called ‘Pool Verandah Bungalows’. The best of these 6 bungalows is bungalow number 10, which has an open, airy terrace right next to the pool.
If you can’t book this bungalow, don’t bother paying extra for any of the other 5, as the pool view they offer isn’t worth the extra money. All 24 bungalows are elegantly decorated, with browns and whites showcasing small splashes of vivid colour, in the form of colourful silk cushions and bed throws.
Comfortable, airy, light and immaculate throughout, these bungalows are highly recommended.
