Suwan Palm Resort, Khao Lak
Independant Review
 |
The entrance to this resort feels almost like a tunnel through the jungle, so overgrown is it with tropical foliage. The jungle theme continues throughout this resort, but in a less overwhelming and enveloping fashion than in the lobby entrance. The pool is attractive and enhanced by the mature tropical trees surrounding it, and the beach is only 100 metres away. |
Superior Room
These large and immaculate rooms are very good value for money. The soft tones and pastel shades won’t wow anybody, but they won’t cause anyone offence either.

Deluxe Room
These rooms all have sea-view, but the rooms on the lower floor have a view that is almost completely obscured by foliage, so are not recommended. The top floor rooms, however, do have good views of the sea, so are a good choice for those who are able and can be bothered to climb the stairs. |
Family Room
These large rooms contain a 3-seater sofa, 2 armchairs, a double bed and two singles, with an extra bed possible. They offer parents no privacy. For groups of travelers, the capability of these rooms to accommodate 4 or 5 people make them a good choice.
