To write that the Koh Yao Beach Resort nestles in a quiet bay is a bit superfluous, as all of the bays in Koh Yao Noi are quiet. Consisting of only a small number of bungalows, this budget resort is built on a large plot of land just across a quiet road from a good swimming beach. A large area in the middle of the resort has been left as a large lawn dotted with coconut trees and shrubs, past which the island’s extraordinarily large butterflies flutter.
The resort's most basic bungalows could use updating and refurbishing, but the newer bungalows built in 2007 are in good condition, and to be recommended to those travelers who can do without air-con. Contact us to make sure you get one of the newer bungalows, plus hopefully an unbeatable price.
