Introduction

This resort's thin beach has coarse sand and is the least appealing of the island’s beaches. The Porn resort is the only resort on the Sunset beach, and offers concrete and bamboo bungalows. This resort is only suitable for budget travellers who can put up with ancient mattresses, rubbish everywhere and unpleasant smells wafting around.

The resort is about a decade old, and no attempts to update or maintain it appear to have been made. It appears to be resting on its good reputation from years gone by.

Accommodation

The concrete bungalows are rather ugly if solidly constructed. Further back from the sand, the bamboo bungalows have not been well maintained and are overdue for demolition - there are large holes between the floorboards, and the corrugated metal bathrooms tacked on to the bungalows are grungy. All the bungalows have thin mattresses on wooden platforms and a fan.

Booking

Booking - not recommended - you'd be better advised to spend a couple of weeks at your dentists. Seriously, there are much better places on Lipe - the best budget place is the Moonlight. If desperate and everywhere else is full then book the Porn resort on http://www.pornresortkohlipe.com/
